As a staff attorney at NELC, Abby is involved in all stages of litigation, working closely with colleagues to bring enforcement actions across the country.

Before joining NELC, Abby served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Timothy J. Sullivan in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she received the Alfred S. Forsyth Prize for dedication to the advancement of environmental law. During law school, she spent three semesters in the Environmental Justice Clinic and interned with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division as well as NELC. 

Abby’s scholarship has been published in the Environmental Claims Journal, the New York Environmental Lawyer, and the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys puzzles, baking sweet treats, and hiking with her labradoodle, Benny.
